Hi, I’m Mario and I qualified as a Confectionary Baker back in 1996 in my home country – Poland.  I learned my craft the old fashioned way using traditional methods and equipment and still work that way all these years later.  The recipes I learned during my training were handed down to me through generations many years ago.  

I moved to Scotland back in 2001 with my wife Ania and worked in Scottish and Italian owned family bakeries.  

I then had the chance to go and work for a huge company in the shape of Morrisons (supermarket) first joining the bakery team before being promoted eventually to Senior Manager.  However, I missed my passion – Baking, so decided to set up my own Confectionary Bakery in 2021 and thus Mario Patisserie was born!  Ania helped me throughout but started fulltime with the Patisserie in September 2021 making truly a family business.
